Explore Rondane - Winter edition - 7 days

This tour is on request, please contact us for information and booking

Hassle-free skiing in friendly terrain. Our Explore Rondane tour is a great alternative to a fully guided tour. The daily stages vary between 6-12 km. At the end of each day, you are welcomed into traditional mountain lodges with great hospitality, homemade food and comfortable beds. During the week, you will be staying at three different lodges:

  • Øigardseter Mountain Lodge is a large lodge with hotel standard, beautifully situated in Høvringen – at the border of the Rondane National Park.
  • Putten Seter was originally a small mountain farm. Here you will stay in traditional cottages, apartments or rooms. Putten Seter. From the lodge, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Gudbrandsdalen valley and Jotunheimen National Park.
  • At Smuksjøseter Mountain Lodge you are almost inside the National Park, with stunning views and quiet surroundings. During winter there is no road to Smuksjøseter, and the lodge can only be reached on skis or by snow coach/snowmobile from Høvringen.
