Choose between cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, and explore the mountains at your own pace. Daily stages are typically 6–12 km, with options to extend your day if you want more. The terrain around Høvringen is generally gentle, making the tour suitable for different experience levels.
Ski or Snowshoe with a Light Pack
Your luggage is transported between the mountain lodges, so you only need to carry a light daypack. This gives you the freedom to stop for scenic breaks, take a detour or choose a longer route depending on the weather, snow conditions and your energy level.
Local hosts can recommend suitable routes each day based on current conditions. If you want to venture higher into the mountains, you can enjoy panoramic views across the spectacular Rondane mountains.
