Staying at Memurubu before your Besseggen hike, means you will have the advantage of starting your hike before everyone else arrives with the boat in the morning.
Another gem in the area, the Bukkelægret trail, provides a challenging yet rewarding hike with dramatic scenery, steep ascents, and awe-inspiring vistas. For a more serene hike, the Memurudalen valley route offers lush valleys, serene mountain lakes, and beautiful views.
