Fairy-tale winter adventure in Sjodalen

Meet and greet at Gammen Mountain Pub

Optional cross-country and snowshoe training session after which you can embark on a trip on your own.
Enjoy the many trails surrounding the campsite while being surrounded by beautiful nature. Upon return, you can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and a waffle by the fireplace.

You will be accompanied by a guide through the Saga Forest trail, during which you will be told the fairy tails placed along the trails. After the tour, you will get a fairy tale waffle and hot chocolate in the Gamme or outside if you want.

Another day of skiing in paradise or relaxing by the fireplace.

Optional guided tour with snowshoeing to find tracks of wild animals. Hot chocolate at the barbecue place.

A hike through the valley of Sjodalen to experience a magical world not affected by artificial light. On a cold winter night, if the sky is clear, you can see thousands of stars illuminating the sky.

You will meet the hosts in the reception and be guided down to where the eager huskies are. You will attend a brief intro session and if you want, you and help select the dogs for your sledge. The trail is about 6 km and runs through beautiful forests and the frozen river Sjoa.

Another day in paradise where you can decide for yourselves what to do.

Perhaps you want to go across the valley to visit Borkhus mountain farm, where you can play and sled in the snow, have hot chocolate and a snack, and listen to a story about the local troll (optional add-on)?
