Venabu - Join our ski guiding program

Status:
This tour is on request, please contact us for information and booking

At Venabu you will learn proper cross-country skiing techniques from real experts. The cross-country ski hire station at the hotel will provide you with all the equipment you need. The program has a beginner to intermediate level.
Cross-country skiing isn't really that hard. You may simply step onto the skis and off you go, or maybe not!
If you want to get more serious about it, a good technique is advisable. At Venabu competent English speaking guides will help you get started. The right kind of swing, how to go uphill and downhill, how to use your poles properly - these and more subjects are taught in an easy to follow, practical, and understandable manner.

Venabu is located just south of the Rondane National Park. You find your hotel at 932 m.a.s.l., in the middle of an open mountain plateau, but not far from mountains rising towards 1500 m. The area has a stable inland climate and very good snow conditions.
